Kirkland Advises M6 Midstream on $5.5 Billion Sale to The Williams Companies

Kirkland & Ellis advised Momentum Midstream (M6), a leading independent midstream energy company, on a definitive agreement to be acquired by The Williams Companies, Inc. (NYSE: WMB) for up to $5.5 billion, consisting of $3.5 billion in cash and debt consideration and approximately $2 billion of Williams equity. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
