Kirkland advised a health insurance company on a major business process and information technology outsourcing initiative to transform its legacy IT systems and operating model to a cloud computing/“as a service” model. The initiative involved nine different deals with major providers and covered a wide spectrum of services, including IT infrastructure, testing, test data management, application development and call center services. The deals had an aggregate total contract value of roughly $500 million.
